PolyMax™ PLA is an incredibly easy-to-print filament with improved mechanical properties, making it an excellent alternative to ABS. Polymaker calls it the toughest PLA filament on the market, engineered for exceptional durability and impact resistance.

PolyMax™ PLA features Polymaker's nano-reinforcement technology, which significantly increases its ductility — the ability of a material to exhibit plastic deformation before fracture. In simple words, PolyMax™ PLA will always bend instead of breaking.

Print Settings

• Printing temperature: 190°C – 230°C
• Bed temperature: 25°C – 60°C
• Printing speed: 40 mm/s – 60 mm/s
• Part cooling fan: ON
• Direct drive retraction: 1 mm / 20 mm/s — indirect drive: 3 mm / 40 mm/s
• Drying (only if the material has absorbed moisture): 55°C for 6 h

Printing Requirements

• None! Will print great on any stock FDM 3D printer without any upgrades required.
• Note: 2.85 mm filament is being discontinued by Polymaker (1.75 mm remains).
