Polymaker PolyFlex TPU90 Flexible Filament

PolyFlex™ TPU90, created from Covestro's Addigy® family, is a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) based filament designed to provide great flexibility without compromising on printing speed.

Print Settings

• Nozzle temperature: 210°C – 230°C
• Bed temperature: 25°C – 60°C
• Print speed: 30 mm/s – 60 mm/s
• Bed surface: glass, BuildTak®
• Part cooling fan: ON
• Direct drive retraction: 3 mm / 40 mm/s — indirect drive: 6 mm / 60 mm/s
• Drying (only if the material has absorbed moisture): 70°C for 8 h

Printing Requirements

• Direct extruder with a gear-ratio mechanical advantage required.
• Very difficult to print with a small nozzle diameter.
• On stock, older style printers, print VERY slow — and make sure the printer is not set up as Bowden: any large gap between the extruder and hotend will cause printing issues.
• Note: 2.85 mm filament is being discontinued by Polymaker (1.75 mm remains).
