What is the difference between PolyLite™ PLA, PolyMax™ PLA and PolyLite™ PLA Pro?

PolyLite™ PLA is a very rigid material with very low impact resistance.
PolyMax™ PLA is an extremely ductile material with high impact resistance and durability.
PolyLite™ PLA Pro is the best of both worlds, combining excellent rigidity and high impact strength.

Note: Polymaker has released Polymaker™ PLA Pro, a new and improved formula that replaces PolyLite™ PLA Pro (being officially discontinued by the end of 2026). Existing PolyLite PLA Pro stock remains fully supported.

Print Settings

Printing temperature: 190°C – 220°C
Bed temperature: 30°C – 60°C
Printing speed: 50 mm/s – 200 mm/s
Part cooling fan: ON
Direct drive retraction: 1–3 mm / 20–40 mm/s — indirect drive: 3 mm / 60 mm/s
Drying (only if the material has absorbed moisture): 55°C for 6 h

Printing Requirements

None! Will print great on any stock FDM 3D printer without any upgrades required.
Note: 2.85 mm filament is being discontinued by Polymaker (1.75 mm remains).
